All Queened Out

Just got back from a wedding reception....
There was some quiet Queen on while we took our seats...
There was the Queen power-ballad first dance...
There was the YouTubable (certifiable) groom singing 'Don't Stop Me Now'...
(How can you not remember ? It was a Queen classic !)
With a s...s...s...sodding st....stutter !!!
(Like it doesn't go on long enough anyway)
Then we had to get a cab home:
'Do you mind if I put some toons on ? '
'Fine mate. So long as it isn't bloody....'Too late.
No tip for you then !....
What happened to Queen ?
I remember seeing them at the Liverpool Stadium when Freddie was a streak of piss in a spangly white jump-suit singing 'Killer Queen'
And that was brilliant !
How did it all ( squillions of quids not withstanding) go so horribly wrong ?
For Queen ?
Hate them hate them hate them......don't care if May is a cracking guitarist....
They became a wedding-reception-band....
On my watch !
