She was all like...
'Age is just a number'
I was all like...
'Whatever'...
Age is life experiences under your belt; your duvet; your double-chins and the weather.
It's the difference between you having your second child and them wondering what they're going to be when they're a grown-up...

'But men do it all the time and nobody says anything...!'

S'all stages, innit.
You can meet someone at a certain stage and be at a similar level of maturity, or have similar desires for what you like doing - and you can have a bloody great time.
It's just that if you're thinking long-term, it all depends on how you're both going to develop from there. And sometimes that's more obvious than other times.
Course, it can all fuck up either way.
