Well, I mentioned how the meeting was quite a congenial one in a previous post...

The Hearing Support Service have already earmarked another 1:1, and the LEA will continue to pay. In the meanwhile, his current 1:1 will continue to work with us from home, getting Firstborn out to colleges and looking at tasting appropriate courses...

There is some concern that he might not be ready for the full-time hit, so there are other options to explore too (like part-time school gradually feeding into the college etc)...

The LEA will also cover transport if needed for a term or so...

I've got to meet with the 1:1 tomorrow, and also with Social Services, who've been utter cack so far, and we'll see if they've got anything more to offer than feeble excuses for leaving him twisting in the wind for so long...
