I've just realized that a post I did in May about an exam cock-up has gone into 'keywords' as cock examination

Which brought to mind a story about a friend who's BF somehow contrived to get a tick on his scrotum during a camping holiday. That night he duly sat straddled in the tent while she headed south with a torch and had a thorough gander ...

Well, you can imagine the shadow display and what the neighbours thought !

However, it seems apposite to mention the importance of male self-examination about once a month after a hot bath or shower. Men (especially the young) can be extraordinarily shy and/or lax about sexual health matters whereas women seem to be more prepared to have things out in the open, so to speak...

A visit to the NHS website doesn't hurt ...

I've had to remove ticks from our dogs. The idea of one of me is horrific. The idea of one on my scrot is downright terrifying!

That's true what you say about women. Maybe is women are more worried about our health.

  Why bother with birthing pools when there's fishponds ?
  
  I meant that girls get more used to discussing periods, contraception and pregnancy with each other, their mums and doctors, and possibly feel less inhibited in seeking advice...

Ouch..A testicular tick must prove rather painful to remove!..Im so glad that I don't have ball's...

Men are always 'checking to see if they are still there'..So having a quick check for medical purposes will be no bother for them..

      I've taken a healthy interest in tick removal utensils now...
      
      I was looking at some of the designs and thinking that they would make a good pickle forks or corncob/dental floss holders...
      
      Then I wondered...

        Yes.. You could gouge ones eyeball..

  Of course I meant checking for abnormalities which could indicate early STIs or cancers, but having read that perhaps we'd all better check for ticks while we're down there...
